Blog Post #2

SO, I just re-read my last blog post, and I realized why it's taken me this long to post again: I haven't applied for UVU classes, and at the end of my last post, I said I would blog my next post once I've done that. BIG SUPRISE: I procrastinated. Anyway, I'll update you on my life so far:

I moved away from BYU. I used to live in BYU housing, just south of campus, until August. Then I realized that if I'm not going to BYU, then I didn't need to live there. Plus, I was doing pest control for a while and had to commute to Salt Lake every morning, so I decided to move closer to the freeway. Enter: Wolverine Crossing. I live right next to the freeway now, on the other side of the I-15 from UVU. What's ironic is that I don't do pest control now because it was just way too ridiculous. Too many hours; not enough pay; physical, emotional and mental stress. The works. It just wasn't worth it. BUT! I love my new place. My roommates are awesome, and we entertain people over at our apartment all the time. There's always something fun going on and I've become really good friends with my roomies in a short amount of time. I couldn't imagine living with anyone else now.

I still haven't applied for UVU classes though. I'm almost to that point, I just have to go turn in my high school transcript so that my financial aid can be processed and then I can sign up for some Gen. Ed. classes. We'll see how long it takes me to do that. Hopefully tomorrow I can do it. Or Monday.

Otherwise, I just live my life. I'm kind of dating someone right now, but I'm not sure where it's going. It's really confusing. I'll leave it at that though, until something else comes of it. I feel like we're coming to a fork in our road, and it's either gonna go one way, or the other. I just hope we both plan on taking the same route. More to follow after I figure that out.

I've been doing a lot of singing too. Since Phil is gone and I don't have the Phil Forte project to work on, I basically just have to do my own thing 'til he gets back in March. Yesterday I played at Open Mic in Provo at the Cybergate Cafe on University Parkway. That was fun. It's hard though, because I've been sick for like the past 3 weeks and my throat is still scratchy, and thus prevents me from singing at my full range. People still like it, I guess, but I'm not exactly satisfied. I guess all I can do is keep going until I get better. I don't really want to make that a career though. That's Phil's job. I'll be the one behind the scenes, managing and whatnot. That's what I wanna do.

Anyway, I think that's enough for now. I didn't expect to write so much, but I guess I just needed to get it all off my chest. It's nice. Hopefully I can take shorter than 9 months to blog my next post. Not that it matters, considering there aren't any followers, and I don't do any advertising to get followers. 'Til next time.
